The first limited edition cutout red seal “Tokugawa Goshuin” at Kan’eiji Temple, Ueno. A detailed representation of the hollyhock crest

Posted on June 2, 2023 by News Admin

Elternal began offering the first limited edition cutout red seal “Tokugawa Goshuin” at the Noto-chudo Hall of Kan’eiji Temple (1-14-11 Uenosakuragi, Taito-ku, Tokyo), which is associated with the Tokugawa Shogun family.

The design features the hollyhock crest, the symbol of the Tokugawa family, in kiri-e style on the entire surface. The fine paper cut-outs are applied to the heavy gold paper, maintaining the image of the Nemoto-chudo Hall, the central hall of Kan’eiji Temple.

The silver foil stamping of the crest of the gods along with the auspicious cloud motif is also a point of interest. The limited quantity will end when all of them are gone.
