Solo camping for girls! Enjoy the tropical atmosphere at RECAMP Tateyama After completing the shopping, we arrived at RECAMP Tateyama around noon. For transportation other than by car, there is a bus stop “in front of Family Park” right in front of the campground, and it takes about 20 minutes by cab from JR Tateyama Station. There are times when you arrive at a campground hungry, set up your tent, etc., and realize that quite a bit of time has passed ……. When I visited RECAMP Tateyama before, I was interested in the cafe menu. I went to Hirasunaura Beach, a 5-minute walk from RECAMP Tateyama, to eat at the beach, but there were so many flying kitebirds that I gave up eating. We just enjoyed the spectacular view and returned to RECAMP Tateyama for a delicious meal.

There are also auto sites where you can drive your car in, as well as a sectioned site with a power supply, making this a perfect campsite. The store also sells highly functional camping goods that are beyond the level of a store. The last time I was here, strong winds made it difficult to light my gas stove, and I ran out of gas on hand. If you forget something or run out of what you brought, you can find almost anything at this store. The sanitary building has a shower booth and even a hair dryer, so you can wash off your sweat and go to sleep. There is even an electric kettle and a microwave oven, so it really is very complete. There is also a laundry corner with washing machines and dryers, so you can come with less luggage even if you are staying for consecutive nights. There is also a sanitary trailer, which does not have a hair dryer, but toilets and showers are available. All are stylish and clean, so women and children will be happy. Toilets at night are not scary either!
