Rakuten STAY will hold the grand opening of “Rakuten STAY VILLA Yatsugatake” on June 12. Prior to this, reservations are being accepted from May 29.
The company operates various types of lodging facilities, including detached houses and apartments, under the “Rakuten STAY” brand, of which “VILLA” is the most high-grade class of lodging facilities that provide comfortable living in resort areas.
Rakuten STAY VILLA Yatsugatake has nine two-story wooden houses (row type) on a 1,833 m2 site, with a floor space of 90 to 100 m2 for each room. The rooms can accommodate 8 to 10 people, with rates starting at 20,000 yen per room, and the larger the group, the more economical it is.
It is located at 10144-3 Kobuchizawa-cho, Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, about 5 minutes by car from JR Kobuchizawa Station or the Kobuchizawa IC on the Chuo Expressway. There is no bus stop nearby, and it takes about 30 minutes to walk there, so it would be safer to use a cab or private car.
Perhaps due to this accessibility, the facility has two parking spaces in each room. In addition, EV users can rest assured that each room is equipped with an EV charger.
Unattended check-in using smart locks and tablets is the same as at other Rakuten STAY facilities, where guests enter the room by entering the PIN number notified in advance via e-mail into the smart lock, and check-in procedures are carried out on a tablet. Although it may be confusing at first, it is comfortable because you can enter your room as soon as you arrive without having to wait at the counter.
Three types of rooms are available: “Stylish” for groups of adults, “Family” for families with infants to younger children, and “Simple Modern” for families with older children and above who can spend their time comfortably.
The three stylish rooms come with one complimentary bottle each of red and white wine (360 ml each) from Charmant Wine, a local winery with a 100-year history. The three Simple Modern rooms also come with three complimentary bottles of Yatsugatake Beer, a craft beer (First Down, Pilsner, and Dunkel).
