On May 30, American Express International added a new service to the benefits of the American Express Green Card.
The Green Card was renewed in September 2022, with a monthly membership fee (1,100 yen) instead of the previous annual fee. At the time of its renewal, the Green Card was renewed with the “Green Offers” program, which offers discounts on car rentals, food delivery, bag and watch subscriptions, etc. The new program includes the use of “2 for 1 Dining by Invitation Day”, discounts on room rates at three Marriott brands, travel and concert cancellation protection, and smartphone protection. The new offer also includes “2 for 1 Dining by Invitation Day”, discounts on Marriott 3-brand room rates, travel and concert cancellation protection, and a deductible reduction for smartphone protection.
2-for-1 Dining by Invitation Day is a popular Amex Gold/Platinum benefit that offers a free meal for one person when two or more people make a reservation for a specified course at a participating restaurant.
Three Marriott brands in Japan (Aloft, AC Hotels, and Moxy) will offer 15% off room rates and a welcome drink, and Mitsui Fudosan Hotel Management’s sequence brand will offer a special rate.
Other additional benefits are offered at Sneaker Dunk, a sneaker sales site; Comic Seymour, an e-comics store; Tolcha, an online fitness store; Summary Pocket, a storage service; and TRANSIT GENERAL OFFICE restaurants and cafes.
