JAL announced that “JAL SMART SECURITY” will be installed at Domestic Flight A security checkpoint at Naha Airport in March 2024 (scheduled).
The system uses an advanced X-ray CT inspection system to achieve safer and more secure inspections without removing liquid items such as PCs and PET bottles, etc. Three people can be ready for inspection at the same time, and five smart lanes that can pass each other are installed to enable faster passage through the inspection area than ever before.
Installation work will be progressed sequentially from January 2024 in preparation for the start of service.
