Accor and Public Investment Management are partnering with PGIM Real Estate to open Novotel Nara (7-1-43 Omiya-cho, Nara City, Nara Prefecture) in the fall of 2024.
Designed to allow visitors to experience Nara’s history and culture through all five senses, the hotel welcomes them with 264 guest rooms, including suites, a social lounge and restaurant, four banquet halls and meeting rooms, and other facilities suitable for both sightseeing and business.
The wellness area on the second floor features a spacious public bath, wellness lounge, and fitness center, while the outdoor terrace with views of Nara and the premium lounge on the top floor provide a relaxing retreat for travelers.
Located a 10-minute walk from the nearest station, Shin-Omiya Station, it is within a 15-minute drive to various spots such as the Great Buddha of Todaiji Temple, which is registered as a World Heritage Site as a “cultural asset of the ancient capital Nara,” and Nara Park, where you can meet wild deer.
