The Goyo azalea, also known as the “white azalea,” blooms from May to June in large areas around the tree, and this year there are more flower buds than usual.
This year’s blooming season is earlier than usual, with the best time to view the flowers beginning near the midpoint of the gondola, followed by the sequential blooming toward the summit. The peak of the blooming season will be about one week after the opening of the flowers, and the entire area will be covered with pure white flowers.
Gondolas can accommodate one group (maximum capacity of 8 persons), allowing visitors to enjoy a 10-minute walk in the air in a private space. Pets are allowed to ride without gauges, and can travel around the facility on a leash only, so there is no need to bring in gauges. A dog run is also available at the summit nature plaza.
