Big Holiday Inc. has released “Oze Hiking Tour 2023″ by Shinkansen bullet train. The lineup includes a wide variety of tours, from casual one-day tours to overnight stays in private lodges in the mountains. The company says that visitors can fully enjoy the rich nature of Oze, where flowers and grasses are in full bloom from spring to autumn.

Oze Hiking Tour” with Shinkansen + train ticket to Togura in Oze “Hatotai-Toge Entry

An easy tour for an introduction to Oze. Take the Tanigawa No. 401 to Kamigekogen Station and transfer by bus to Hatotai Pass.

From the Hatotai Pass, visitors can take an 8-9 km walking course (about 3 hours) to see the Yosezawa Bridge, Temma Sawa, Kawakami Bridge, and Yamanohana area. Since it takes time to get around during busy periods such as when Mizubasho (Asian skunk-cabbage) is in bloom, it is recommended that visitors plan their return trip well in advance. Fares range from 13,200 yen to 18,200 yen per adult, and a separate bus fare is required between Togura in Oze and Hatotai Pass.
