On May 10, Tobu Railway announced plans to develop an arcade shopping area under the elevated Takenotsuka Station, aiming to open in the first half of 2024.
A single-story commercial facility of approximately 3,300m2 will be constructed under the elevated railway tracks, and will offer a variety of stores convenient for daily shopping, including food, restaurants, and household goods. Details of the stores will be disclosed in the future.
The construction period is scheduled from June to May 2024. The site area is approximately 5300 m2 and the total floor area is approximately 3300 m2.
