Odakyu Electric Railway will renew its website “Hakone Travel Reservation System”.
Through Dynamic Package, which allows users to freely create their own travel plans combining the limited express Romance Car with Hakone accommodations and local experiences, they can enjoy their own personalized Hakone sightseeing at the best rates. With the renewal, customers can compare and select room types and other details, and apply for the limited express Romance Car and digital Hakone free pass at the same time to get the best rates compared to other travel websites. Express tickets, round-trip tickets, and free passes purchased through the website can be managed centrally on a smartphone along with lodging and other information, and passengers can change trains and seats up until departure time.
It is also possible to combine discounted tickets with optional special offers, such as discounted admission tickets to museums and day-trip hot-spring facilities, or the “Enjoy! Odawara Ticket,” which includes a choice of meals in Odawara, sightseeing at Odawara Castle, and souvenirs.
The new website allows users to log in with their Google, Facebook, or LINE accounts, and if linked to the community-based service platform “ONE”, users will be able to save even more. Odakyu points are earned at 1% of the amount spent, and can be used as one point at one yen per point for purchases at participating stores.
Applications for the trip will be accepted 90 days prior to the stay. The service is also seamlessly linked with “Hakone Navi” and “Romance Car Navi,” which provide information on Hakone’s attractions and seasonal information.
