In addition, seismic reinforcement work will be carried out on bridges between Machida and Sagami-Ono and between Sagami-Ono and Higashi-Bayashi, and in-train security cameras will be installed to deter on-train crime.
In addition, to improve service, three six-car trains of the 3000 commuter train will be renewed and wheelchair and stroller spaces will be installed in each train, work will begin on improving the platform at Chuorinkan Station, and work will begin on converting Tsurukawa and Fujisawa Stations to bridge station buildings.
