Memoread opened Urari Takeo Garden Terrace Spa Resort (15750-1 Oaza Nagashima, Takeo-cho, Takeo City, Saga Prefecture), Garden Terrace Hotels’ first onsen ryokan brand, on April 22.
Located approximately 9 minutes by car from Takeo Onsen Station on the Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen Line and 10 minutes by car from the Takeo-Kitagata Interchange on the Nagasaki Expressway, the hotel has 19 rooms (7 types) on 4 floors above ground, including deluxe Japanese/Western rooms, suites, barrier-free rooms, and pet-friendly rooms. All rooms are equipped with hot spring baths and use Takeo Onsen hot spring water, which has long been known as “beauty water.
The second floor includes the front desk, fitness room, relaxation room, meditation room, and premium lounge. The premium lounge offers a selection of Japanese sake from Saga, a rice-producing region, and carefully selected wines.
The dining room on the third floor is equipped with semi-private and private rooms, where you can enjoy kaiseki cuisine using local ingredients, including Saga beef. The fourth floor is a spa floor with an infinity pool, a dry sauna with the scent of trees, and a steam sauna with fine steam.
