Amanek will hold the grand opening of Hotel Amanek Shinjuku Kabukicho on April 28.
Located a 10-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, a 5-minute walk from Higashi Shinjuku Station, and an 8-minute walk from Shinjuku Sanchome Station, the hotel has 169 guest rooms.
Since Shinjuku City is expected to have many foreign tourists as well as business travelers, the company will introduce a plan around August that allows reservations in one-hour increments, instead of the conventional check-in/out lodging style, for active travelers and business people who want to make effective use of their time.
On the exterior, windows with high vertical slits are placed and the exterior wall material is ribbed to give a sense of Japanese style and the height characteristic of the Shinjuku area. On the interior, a Japanese design was added to give a sense of the glittering Shinjuku area, but also to soothe the fatigue of travelers.
Rooms will be compact, but will have three separate water features, and all rooms will be equipped with a bathtub.
