Casio Computer Co., Ltd. will release four anniversary models “G-SHOCK 40th Anniversary REMASTER BLACK” on May 13 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the company’s G-SHOCK wristwatch.
In the image of a stone monument, the model number and year of release of each successive model are printed on the belt. The back of the watch is engraved with an anniversary logo featuring the letter “40” and a star, and the packaging is also marked with this logo.
The DWE-5657RE, DW-6640RE, GA-114RE, and GA-2140RE models will be offered, with the DWE-5657RE and DW-6640RE being digital models and the GA-114RE and GA-2140RE digital analog combination models. In addition, DWE-5657RE has a bezel that can be replaced from square to round.
The DWE-5657RE is priced at 22,000 yen, the DW-6640RE at 18,700 yen, the GA-114RE at 23,100 yen, and the GA-2140RE at 21,450 yen.
