Tokyu Land Corporation announced on April 12 that it has decided to name the project “Forestgate Daikanyama “produced by Tokyu Land Corporation” in Daikanyama-cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. The opening is scheduled for late October.
The complex consists of two buildings: the MAIN building, consisting of commercial facilities, shared offices, and rental housing, and the TENOHA building, consisting of a café and event space, with a total site area of approximately 4,500 m2 and total floor space of approximately 21,300 m2.
In particular, the MAIN building, with 10 floors above ground and 2 floors below, will house 57 rental residences (4-10 floors), a co-working space (3 floors), and commercial space (2 floors to basement level). The project aims to create a lifestyle of “living, working, and playing” in close proximity to each other. Kengo Kuma is in charge of the facility design.
