After resuming at the beginning of the year, the nationwide travel support temporarily ended by the end of March, but each prefecture has indicated that it will continue after April until the allotted budget limit is reached, and as of April 13, the details of this support have appeared on the official websites of all 47 prefectures.
In principle, a flat 20% of the travel price (up to 5,000 yen per night for travel products that include transportation, and up to 3,000 yen per night for other travel products) will continue to be subsidized, and local coupons (2,000 yen per night on weekdays, 1,000 yen per night on holidays) that can be used for purchasing souvenirs and eating and drinking will be given in the form of electronic coupons.
