Yokohama Greenery and Alai Green Partners will hold a “Handmade Rose Garden Festival” at Hino Chuo Park (2-2 Hino Chuo, Konan-ku, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture). The festival will run from April 27 to May 21 (11:00 to 15:00 each day).

The rose garden in Hino Chuo Park in Yokohama City will be planted with 140 roses of about 70 varieties, which will be at their best from the end of April. During the festival, free events will be held every day, including the distribution of rose guides that show the characteristics of each rose, the “Rose Fragrance Scope” to enjoy seven different fragrances, and a popularity contest.

On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, workshops such as herbarium, flower arrangement, and eco-bag painting with leaves (from 500 yen) will be held on a daily basis. There will also be a marché where visitors can purchase Yokohama honey, vegetables, bread, flower seedlings, etc.
