On April 11, Plaza Create opened “THE GLAMPING PLAZA Ise-Shima BASE” (1900-58 Shinmei, Ago-cho, Shima City, Mie Prefecture) in Shima National Park. It is currently accepting reservations through its website.
This is the company’s second glamping facility. Seven domed tents with deck space can accommodate up to four people with two single beds and an extra bed.
Two types of rooms are available: “Standard Dome” and “Theater Dome” with projector. Each tent is air-conditioned and has a toilet and shower room, and a building-type eating area on the side. The FREE BAR is available free of charge from after check-in to 8:30 p.m. and sells local beer, sake, wine, sparkling wine, and other beverages.
BBQ offers two types of menus to enjoy Matsuzaka beef and seafood from Ago Bay. Guests can choose between the popular standard plan and a special plan that allows them to compare Matsuzaka beef steaks. An “Overnight Plan” is also available, which allows guests to bring in their own food for a BBQ. In addition, guests can enjoy activities such as indigo dyeing to experience the charms of the region.
