On March 23, JATA (Japan Association of Travel Agents) held a regular press conference at its headquarters in Kasumigaseki to explain its measures to stimulate demand for domestic travel.
JATA has been running the “Laugh Travel, and Good Luck Comes to You” Domestic Lodging Campaign for some time now, in which visitors who sign up for tours offered by JATA member travel agencies are eligible to win coupons for their next trip. This campaign will continue after April, and the contents will be further expanded and enhanced.
The following five courses are available according to the different modes of transportation used, etc. It is possible to apply for all five courses at the same time if applicable. Even if you are not selected in the lottery, there is a possibility of winning the W Chance if you travel on a weekday.
The period is divided into three phases: April 1 to June 30 (first phase), July 1 to September 30 (second phase), October 1 to December 31 (third phase), and January 1 to March 31 (fourth phase), with a drawing held for each phase. Prizes may also vary by period.
Please note that travel products must be applied for at a JATA member travel agency during the period, so please check the JATA member list to see if the company you are applying to (purchasing from) is a member company.
