Vocalist Kotone’s Music Trip] Driving around Kamakura in spring! Enjoy Shichirigahama Gourmet from “Totooto” at the seaside!

Posted on April 2, 2023 by News Admin

Shopping at “Seven Miles Club”, imported goods make you feel like overseas After enjoying after-dinner coffee time at Amalfi Cafe, I walked along Shichirigahama for a bit to visit “Seven Miles Club”, a general store near Kamakura Koukoumae Station. I wondered if there really was a general merchandise store here since it was located in a residential area. I was a bit nervous, but I climbed up the hill and found a storefront with nice sundries. Upon entering the store, I found many sea-inspired items, mainly imported goods. The store carries a wide variety of items, from clothing to sundries and foodstuffs, with a focus on items that remind one of the sea and the American continent. I found this international selection to be very cute. This time, I bought a mini bus for my nephew who loves cars and a hand cream for myself.

Potatis, a French fries and shakes restaurant, offers European frites in Shichirigahama! Returning from the Seven Miles Club toward the Shichirigahama parking lot where I had parked my car, I was struck by a picture of French fries in front of the Potatis storefront. I mean, who doesn’t like french fries, right? But what caught my eye was a picture of french fries that looked like something I would have eaten in Belgium, Paris, or Holland. The shakes look delicious, and when I went inside, I found that there are 5 types of fries to choose from and a whopping 12 sauces! I chose the “European” french fries, which are very Belgian. I chose the “European” fries, which were served with a spicy sauce called “Samurai Sauce” and a fritz sauce, just like the “frites” (Belgian for fries) I had in Belgium. The shake was a refreshing yogurt shake with pineapple sauce. You can also use a vanilla shake as a base. I enjoyed the fries with a nostalgic feeling of my visit to Belgium, and then I refreshed my palate with a refreshing yogurt shake. This endless loop is devilishly addictive.
