Osaka Prefecture has announced that it will extend its nationwide travel support “Welcome to Osaka Campaign” through May 12. After resuming at the beginning of the year, the campaign was set to end on March 30 (including check-out on March 31), but will continue until the budget limit is reached.
In addition to a flat 20% subsidy (up to 5,000 yen per night for travel products with transportation/up to 3,000 yen per night for other products), local coupons (2,000 yen per night on weekdays/1,000 yen per night on holidays) will continue to be given for the purchase of souvenirs and for eating and drinking.
