On March 23, JATA (Japan Association of Travel Agents) announced the Tour Grand Prix 2023.
The Tour Grand Prix is an award program that recognizes the most outstanding tour planning proposals for overseas and domestic tours (both solicited and ordered) and inbound tours to Japan, with the aim of improving planning and marketing capabilities in the travel industry and contributing to measures for “Tourism Nationhood.
The Tour Grand Prix 2023 Executive Committee is sponsored by the Tour Grand Prix 2023 Executive Committee and supported by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (planned), Japan Tourism Agency (planned), JATA, and Japan Travel Writers Association. The awards ceremony will be held in mid-July.
Last year’s event was cancelled due to the new coronavirus infection, and since it will be the first time in two years that the event will be held, this year’s selection will be based on tours that take place “from April 2021 to the end of March 2023”.
