ANA collaborates with the Flying Shrine on a red seal book. Designed by Chuhachi Ninomiya, the “Tamamushi” shaped air vessel and the 787.

ANA Group released a red seal book in collaboration with a flying shrine.

Following Anamoriinari Shrine and Haneda Shrine, this is the third red seal book in collaboration with a shrine closely associated with aviation safety. The Flight Shrine is located in Yawata City, Kyoto Prefecture, and is dedicated to Rao Hayahi-no-mikoto, the god of the sky. This time, two designs are available: one for ANA sales and the other for distribution at the Shrine of Flight. Both designs use MDF plywood, an environmentally friendly material, for the front and back surfaces.

The ANA sales version design features the “Tamamushi Aircraft” designed by Chuhachi Ninomiya, who is said to have been the first person in Japan to attempt to manufacture and operate a powered aircraft, and the company’s Boeing 787 aircraft in the center. The design depicts an aircraft that has evolved with the times. The design also depicts a musical note that evokes the sound of wings, propellers, and echoing engines, with clouds in the sky at the top and a marble pillar, which is rare in shrine architecture, at the bottom. The price is 3300 yen.

The design for the distribution version of the flying shrine also places the jade insect shaped air vessel and the 787 aircraft in the center. The upper part of the design features stained glass, which is rare in shrine architecture, and the lower part features a marble column. The price is 3,500 yen.
