Mystays Hotel Management will reopen Kamenoi Hotel Hikone on April 1.
The lobby lounge and restaurant have been redesigned to resemble Hikone Castle, and vermilion, the symbol of the Iyi family, has been chosen as the key color. The number of guest rooms has been increased by seven to a total of 48, including a new “View Bath Force” with a view of Lake Biwa from the bathroom. In addition, a “Big Table Lounge” where guests can enjoy sake and wine from a server will be added.
In conjunction with the renovation, the breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus will also be renewed. For breakfast, the restaurant will offer medicinal herbs and other dishes based on the theme of “gentle to the body,” while the lunch and dinner menus will feature plenty of A5-ranked Omi beef.
