Vessel Hotel Kaihatsu has renovated the top-floor twin room at “Ref Matsuyama City Station by Vessel Hotels” (5-2-2 Minatomachi, Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture) and opened it as a “Chuggington Room” limited to one room where guests can enjoy the world of the CG railroad animation “Chuggington”.
The rooms are decorated with Chuggington’s friends on the wallpaper, ceiling, and doors, and a Chuggington play rail for families to play together. In addition, children’s costumes are available for children to become a member of the Chuggington Navigators, and commemorative photos can be taken.
In addition, guests staying in the plan with breakfast (from 27,900 yen for 2 persons/30,900 yen for 3 persons) or the plan with no meal (from 24,900 yen for 2 persons/26,400 yen for 3 persons) will receive an acrylic key ring and a Chuggington origami bookmark as a special offer.
The hotel, which is based on the concept of “THE STATION,” also accepts “Iyotetsu Room Plans,” which are decorated to resemble train suspension straps.
This is a limited edition of two guest rooms in which the driver’s seat, flooring, panels, and some other parts of a retired Iyo Railway car that has served the company for about 60 years have been reused. The driver’s seat is equipped with real switches and steering wheel, and if you wear a loaner uniform, you can feel like a driver.
