The Tokyo Metropolitan Transportation Bureau and the Council for Regional Revitalization of the Four Wards along the Toden Arakawa Line will operate the “Toden Sakura-go” for the first time in three years. The period is from March 18 to April 16.
In cooperation with the four wards along the Tokyo Sakura Tram (Toden Arakawa Line), Toden Sakura-go will decorate the interior of Car 9001 with stickers featuring cherry blossoms. A head mark featuring the Tokyo Sakura Tram mascot character “Toaran” will also be displayed on the front of the train.
In addition, LCD monitors and in-car posters in the cars will introduce hanami spots and hanami events in each ward.
