Queen Elizabeth’s highlights in photos. Here’s the pleasure of taking your time and savoring the elegance!

Posted on March 23, 2023 by News Admin

Travel report on the Queen Elizabeth’s “3-day Sydney-Melbourne” press tour organized by Cunard Line. In this final installment, we will introduce the ship’s facilities that we could not fully report on up to now, with plenty of photos. We were also able to see the dining room, which is exclusively for the upper class cabins.

The Grand Lobby, the most popular photo spot on the ship, is a spacious three-story atrium that can be called the “face” of the Queen Elizabeth. It is the perfect spot to fantasize about the scene where you go down the stairs in your dress and a handsome gentleman in a tuxedo is waiting for you and gently takes your hand.

In the Grand Lobby, I often saw people taking memory photos. The photos are taken by the ship’s exclusive photographer using a strobe light, and the data can be selected and purchased on the monitor in the photo gallery and studio. Since it is the Queen Elizabeth, it would be nice to dress up to the nines and capture a photo that will be a memory for a lifetime.

Another popular photo spot is in front of the clock in the Royal Arcade. This clock was custom-made by Dent, the same company that made the clock for London’s Elizabeth Tower (commonly known as Big Ben). The curved staircase from left to right is very picturesque.

Each cabin category on the Queen Elizabeth has its own restaurant, and we were able to take a special look at the “Queen’s Grill” and “Princess Grill,” two of the four upper-class restaurants, when we disembarked from the ship. The Grill’s Terrace, a terrace with an outstanding view, is located on the highest point of the ship and is reserved for the Grill class. The elegant and refined atmosphere made me sigh and think, “There is always something better up there! I sighed.

I have reported on the Queen Elizabeth’s short cruise experience in five articles, but the thing that has stayed with me the most is the “luxury of taking your time. In this day and age when time performance (time performance) is so important, I was able to learn how to enjoy travel in a way that is the opposite of that. If I have a chance, I would like to participate in a 10-day or 2-week tour next time and get completely absorbed in the charm of cruising.
