On March 10, Peach Aviation began operating the back number jet in collaboration with the three-piece band “back number.

The collaboration commemorates the 11th anniversary of the airline’s launch and is themed on the last phrase of back number’s song “Ritz Party” from their first album released in 2011, “Let’s go say it properly”.

The specially painted aircraft is an Airbus A320ceo (registration code: JA826P) operated by Peach, with the back number logo and the message “Let’s go say it properly” written by vocalist Yori Shimizu on both sides of the back of the aircraft.

On the 10th, the first day of the back number jet operation, Peach employees saw off the flight with a banner. The first flight, MM153 (KIX-Fukuoka), with 169 passengers (including 1 infant), blocked out at 9:29 a.m. from spot 99, and took off at 9:39 a.m. from RWY24L at Kansai Airport toward Fukuoka Airport.

In addition to the operation of the back number jet, the collaboration will feature an original medley of four songs selected from “Humor,” the seventh full-length album released on January 17 after a four-year absence, as in-flight background music. The songs can be heard on Peach flights on all domestic and international routes beginning on March 10.

And at Shin-Chitose, Narita, Kansai International Airport, and Fukuoka airports, automatic check-in machines with the message “Let’s go say it properly” designed on the back number and Peach logos will be installed. back number 5 major dome tour “in your humor tour 2023” starting March 18. CAs on all domestic and international flights will wear specially designed aprons for in-flight service.

In addition, from 12:00 p.m. on March 10 to 11:59 p.m. on March 13, a 72-hour limited one-way sale starting at 1,125 yen (let’s go say it) will be offered on 29 domestic routes. The applicable boarding period is from March 20 to October 28.

Mami Mukokubo of the Marketing Planning Department, who was in charge of this project, said, “With the Corona disaster, we have become more connected through online and SNS. That is why it is important to meet and touch people in person. The collaboration was made possible by the coincidence of our wishes and back number’s wishes.
