The PASMO Council and PASMO will issue a mobile “Commemorative Design PASMO” in collaboration with four popular illustrators to mark the 10th anniversary of the nationwide mutual use of transportation system IC cards on March 23.
Four designs will appear sequentially over the course of a year. The first (March 23, 10:00 – April 10, 18:00) is a collaboration with Gibmi~! The first design (March 23, 10 a.m. to April 10, 6 p.m.) is a collaboration with Mr. Tomotaka and features the “PASMO Robot,” a character familiar to PASMO users since its inception.
If you issue/reissue a new card on mobile (Android/iOS) or transfer your existing card to mobile during each period, all PASMO cards on the PASMO app will be switched to Commemorative PASMO (free of charge).
The second round is scheduled to be announced around June or July. Details on how to use the service are provided on the special website.
