Rakuten has launched an Android version of Rakuten Health Care, a smartphone application that allows users to manage their health at a reasonable cost while earning points.
Rakuten Healthcare is a health management application that aims to extend users’ healthy life expectancy, improve their quality of life, and optimize medical costs, and the iOS version was launched in October 2022. It has a “physical activity record” that records activity data such as number of steps, distance traveled, and calories burned, as well as body measurements such as weight, body fat percentage, and BMI, for easy understanding, and “health promotion incentives” that allow users to participate in a lottery to win Rakuten points for continued exercise and achievement of challenge events. The system also has a “Health Promotion Incentive” that allows users to participate in a drawing for Rakuten points by continuing to exercise or achieving challenge events.
Rakuten Healthcare is also running a “100 Rakuten Points Present Campaign for New DL & First 5,000 Steps” in which 100 Rakuten Points will be awarded for achieving 5,000 steps per day after first entering the campaign, downloading the application, and completing new registration. The campaign will run from March 1, 10:00 to April 3, 9:59.
