The Metropolitan Police Department will enforce traffic regulations on March 5 in conjunction with the Tokyo Marathon 2023.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office will be the starting point, and traffic regulations will be enforced on the course and on roads near the course. As a result, vehicular traffic will be prohibited for an extended period of time.
Due to the expected congestion in the area, people are urged to refrain from using vehicles. When using a vehicle, it is necessary to use the recommended route, the main passable route, and the Metropolitan Expressway (with some entrance and exit restrictions).
In accordance with the Civil Aeronautics Law, no unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) may be flown on the course or around the venue without permission.
