Solare Hotels and Resorts will undertake a large-scale renovation of its existing facilities in Ureshino Onsen, opening in spring 2023 as Hotel Sakura (1021 Shimoyado Otsu, Ureshino-cho, Ureshino-shi, Saga Prefecture), Solare Hotels’ first hot spring hotel.
While inheriting the charm and traditions of the town of Ureshino Onsen, which has an ancient history dating back to the Nara period, the hotel has arranged the space in a modern and contemporary style, including a gorgeous tile artwork inspired by Ureshino in the large bath on the top floor.
The 11-story building has a total of 55 guest rooms, including a lounge and restaurant. The hotel aims to provide a place where people of all ages can feel a sense of romance in the Ureshino hot spring, which has been selected as one of the “three best hot springs for beautiful skin in Japan.
