Rakuten Travel has announced the “Rakuten Travel Awards 2022” and “Rakuten Travel Japan Inn Awards 2022” based on the past year’s performance and evaluation. The former is for all accommodation facilities, while the latter is only for facilities in the leisure category.
Rakuten Travel Awards 2022 honored 101 Gold Award-winning facilities, 101 Silver Award-winning facilities, and 600 Bronze Award-winning facilities, and also established the “Hotel & Ryokan of the Year” award to recognize the top three Gold Award-winning facilities. In addition, the “Regional Creation Award” was also established to honor the top three municipalities with the most selected Rakuten Travel coupon returns from Rakuten Furusato tax payments.
The TOP 47 Japanese Inn Award honored the first place in each prefecture, and the Japanese Inn Award honored 188 other highly rated facilities.
