Heiwa Real Estate and Accor will renovate part of the Uchisaiwaicho Heiwa Building and rebrand it as Mercure Tokyo Hibiya (1-5-2 Uchisaiwaicho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), opening in winter.
Hibiya has been called “the best theater and movie town in the East” with many theaters and cinemas such as the Yurakuchiza, the Imperial Theater, and the Hibiya Film Theater. Therefore, the facility will be designed based on the concept of “theater stage design” and inspired by the glamorous stage costumes and filming equipment. The guest rooms will be a collage of patterns and settings of stage costumes, which will be incorporated into the space.
It is located a 3-minute walk from Shinbashi Station on the JR Line, Shinbashi Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, Shinbashi Station on the Toei Asakusa Line, and Uchisaiwaicho Station on the Toei Mita Line. It has 178 guest rooms, a restaurant, fitness center, meeting rooms, and executive lounge.
