Accor and Sapporo Real Estate Development will renovate Hotel Clubby Sapporo and open it as Hotel Sousei Sapporo M Gallery in 2024.
M Gallery is the hotel brand of Accor Group, which operates 110 hotels in 32 countries around the world. Each hotel has its own story originating from the local area, and the “Hotel Soseibashi Sapporo M Gallery” aims to be a landmark in Hokkaido. The Soseibashi Bridge has the meaning of “the first bridge in Sapporo,” and is currently undergoing redevelopment as a place that supported the city’s development as an industrial district.
The hotel is located about a 15-minute walk from JR Sapporo Station. In front of the hotel is the Sapporo Factory, a former factory that supported Hokkaido’s beer production and is now a complex that includes a shopping mall, offices, a movie theater, and a museum. It is also accessible to tourist attractions such as the Nagayama Memorial Performance, the Sapporo TV Tower, and the Sapporo Beer Museum.
