JAL will issue “Green Life Miles” to those who purchase environmentally friendly services and products, following its selection by the Ministry of the Environment for the “Food and Life ‘Green Life Point’ Promotion Project”.
If you apply for the “JAL Carbon Offset” program, which allows you to offset the CO2 emitted by the aircraft you are flying, or if you purchase a product made from recycled materials in the “JAL’s Best of the Best” program, you will receive Green Life Miles. Green Life Miles can be used in the same way as regular miles, such as for award tickets and conversion to various types of points.
From late February to March 31, “Green Life Mileage Split Campaign” will also be held. The campaign will award Green Life Miles to JAL Mileage members who enter the campaign via the dedicated campaign website during the campaign period, with the total amount of miles awarded depending on the number of applicants. A second campaign is scheduled to be launched on April 1 and thereafter.
