JR Tokai Passengers will release sofa cushions and floor mats featuring the relief of the “0-kilometer post” on the Tokaido Shinkansen platform at Tokyo Station at the “JRCP Online Shop” from February 6, 2010 at 10:00.

A kilometer post is a sign that indicates how many kilometers from the starting point of the line, and the 0-kilometer post is the starting point of the line. It is the starting point of the railway line leading to Kagoshima Chuo Station and the starting point of the world’s first high-speed railroad.
To coincide with the launch, a special movie featuring Tokyo Station staff from JR Tokai and product development staff from JR Tokai Passengers sneaking into Tokyo Station late at night after business hours was released. The movie introduces various monuments and facilities, including the “Zero Kilometer Post,” as well as the history of the railroad.
