Walt Disney Japan will release the Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary collection at Disney Flagship Tokyo, Disney Store stores, and the official Disney online store shopDisney starting January 28.
The Disney Store will offer special collections throughout the year on the largest scale. The first collection, The Disney100 Platinum Celebration Collection, will be available starting January 28, and the second collection of items will be available in early March.
The Disney100 Platinum Celebration Collection features items featuring characters dressed in platinum, the theme color of Disney100, and includes a selection of spectacular products befitting the one-year anniversary celebration.
The first phase includes Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse plush toys from overseas Disney Parks & Resorts, as well as collectible items such as snow globes with castle motifs and fashion items featuring the 100th anniversary logo.
Japan-original items include anniversary-spec plush toys in Disney100-themed costumes from the popular “TSUM TSUM” series, stationery, and confectionery.
The second edition includes platinum-colored Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse figures, pin badges of characters from popular films, and long-sleeved T-shirts by Spirit Jersey, a well-known fashion brand at Disney resorts in the U.S. with commemorative art designs. The event also features a variety of premium items that fans must-see. Apparel items are available for both adults and babies, so you can enjoy celebrating the 100th anniversary with your family and friends.
Backpacks by “Loungefly,” a fashion brand from Los Angeles, U.S.A., with platinum-colored designs, gorgeous figures with rhinestones and other materials, and costumes with limited 100th anniversary designs that can be changed for fun. Toys such as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse doll sets and Rubik’s Cubes featuring art from the collection will also be available.
