CITIZEN’s limited gold model of Thermo Sensor. Engraving of the logo of the time on the back cover.

Posted on January 27, 2023 by News Admin

Citizen Watch will release a gold-colored model (JG2122-60W) based on the Thermo Sensor, the world’s first combination watch with a temperature measurement function, which was launched in 1982.

The price is 37,400 yen, and the limited edition of 500 pieces (available only at exclusive dealers) will be available for pre-order from January 26, and will go on sale on February 16.

The Thermosensor was reissued in October 2022 with a “record label,” and while there are two models with black and white dials, this one is based on the not-for-sale gold model of the first Thermosensor. Both the case and band are gold-colored, and the dial has a retro look with a color scheme that looks as if it has deteriorated over time.

In addition, the logo of the period is engraved on the back cover, and the band is decorated with decorative holes by press working.
