Kansai Airport announced that Thai Vietjet will launch a new service between Kansai International Airport and Chiang Mai on February 17. The aircraft used is an Airbus A321-200 with 208 seats in economy class only.
Thai Vietjet is a Bangkok-based airline that began operations in 2015, and this will be the first direct flight between Kansai International Airport and Chiang Mai. Chiang Mai has become a popular tourist destination in Thailand along with Bangkok and Phuket, where visitors can experience northern Thai cuisine, traditional culture, and jungle trekking.
