Three NEXCO companies, Metropolitan Expressway Company, Hanshin Expressway Company, and JB Honshin Expressway Company have revised the conditions of use of ETC personal cards to make them easier to use as part of their efforts to promote the spread of ETC.

ETC Personal Card is a service that allows customers to use ETC without a credit card by making a deposit (security deposit).

The minimum deposit amount has been 20,000 yen, but new deposit amounts of 3,000 yen, 5,000 yen, and 10,000 yen will be set for users who spend 2,500 yen or less per month. In addition, the maximum amount that can be used in relation to the deposit amount will be changed from the amount equivalent to 80% of the deposit amount to 100%.
