HIS (H-IS) has opened a dedicated website for Spaceship Neptune, a balloon spacecraft offered by Space Perspective, an American space venture company. Qualita Shinjuku, an HIS subsidiary specializing in business and first class travel, will serve as the dedicated contact point, and will begin accepting reservations on January 18.
Spaceship Neptune allows visitors to travel to the “Gateway to Space” at an altitude of approximately 30 km using a space balloon. Anyone over the age of 18 can participate, and once arrangements are confirmed, a “boarding pass” will be issued. The specific date of boarding has not yet been determined.
