Chiba Prefecture will resume national travel support on January 10.

Chiba Prefecture has named its nationwide travel support “Chiba Tokubari Campaign” and the period is from January 10 to March 31 (including check-out on April 1). The campaign will subsidize 20% of the cost of a trip to Chiba (up to 5,000 yen per night for travel products that include transportation, and up to 3,000 yen for other travel products) and provide electronic coupons (2,000 yen on weekdays/1,000 yen on holidays) that can be used to purchase souvenirs and other items.

Eligible applicants must be travelers residing in Japan and have received three doses of the novel corona vaccine or be able to present a negative certificate of PCR test.

The website also allows users to search for participating travel agencies, lodging facilities, and coupon agencies.
