BUB will open BUB RESORT Yatsugatake (3545 Kiyosato, Takane-cho, Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture) on April 22.
This glamping facility focuses on experiences centered on the nature and culture of the Yatsugatake area. All activities are included in the room rate, so there is no limit to the number of guests, and reservations are not required.
Activities are developed in-house, and 20 different activities are offered daily on a timetable. The year is divided into 15 segments with different timetables depending on the season, so visitors can enjoy different experiences even if they visit every month. The lineup includes activities related to the region and nature, such as survival games in the forest, a night safari experience to observe animals at night, and leather crafts to experience the manufacturing process of Koshu Inden, a traditional craft of Yamanashi Prefecture.
Two types of guest rooms are available. Vacation stay type rooms are Western-style rooms in the building, and one of them, the North Suite, will have a dedicated “Dream Planner” who can consult with guests about surprises and special experiences even before they arrive. The rooms are packed with a variety of tricks, such as beds and an item space on the terrace where visitors can enjoy the experience. In addition, the glamping area, scheduled to open in July 2023, will feature tented guest rooms where guests can stay on the highlands of the Yatsugatake South Ridge.
