Stayed at “OMO5 Kanazawa Katamachi by Hoshino Resort”. Street walks, gourmet food, and local workshops for parents and children in Katamachi!

A relaxing stay in a calm Japanese-style guest room We stayed in a twin room (23m2-24m2). The rooms are designed for guests to enjoy a more unusual and relaxing atmosphere, so guests enter by taking off their shoes in a separate area. Upon entering the room, the curtains with a design of “Yuki-tsuri,” Kanazawa’s winter tradition, catch the eye. There is a sofa and a small table for relaxing. A large trunk can be conveniently stored in the space under the bed. The toilet, bath, and sink are all independent, making them easy to use. Amenities are available at the space in front of the elevator hall, so be sure to pick up what you need beforehand. In addition to the above, OMO offers a variety of guest rooms. For example, there are “double rooms (23m2-24m2)” for single travelers, couples, and business use. For female travelers, we recommend the “Superior Room (32m2)” with a large sofa bed and two washbasins, and for families and groups, the “OMO House (46m2-48m2)”.

Enjoy breakfast and sweets at the cafe OMO5 Kanazawa Katamachi has an OMO Cafe, where you can enjoy breakfast and cafe & bar time. For breakfast, customers can choose one main dish from the five OMOrning risotto and croque-monsieur options, as well as a salad, soup, yogurt, and drink from the self-service menu. Four of the risottos can be found at other OMO5 restaurants, but the “Bocha and Fu Risotto,” which uses bocha tea as the broth, is an OMO5 Kanazawa Katamachi original and the most popular item on the menu. A specialty during café hours is the “Goroshima Kintoki (sweet potato) Mont Blanc” (1,000 yen). It is quite fun to finish the cake by squeezing the sweet potato cream outside yourself. The last order is at 10:30 p.m., so business travelers can use the cafe as a place to work at night.
