However, it is better to let a professional photographer do what he does best, and the results may be better. I will explain later what is actually better, but let’s take one example and look at the basic operation of “turning on the power and starting recording (releasing the shutter). On a smartphone, this requires launching the camera app (or switching tasks) and then tapping the shutter release button on the screen. In some cases, you may even have to remove the screen lock using biometrics. With GoPro, all you have to do is press the shutter button on the top of the camera and it will start recording right from the power-off state. And a loud “beep! a loud confirmation sound is emitted to let you know that recording has started (the sound can also be muted). This is because the “QuikCapture” function is enabled by default, and of course it can be disabled, but it is useful in winter sports where you have to wear thick gloves so as not to miss any opportunities. When recording is finished, simply press the shutter release button again to turn the camera off. These convenient functions for outdoor activities are all built into the small body of the camera.
