The nationwide travel support program at the beginning of the year will subsidize a flat 20% of the travel price (up to 5,000 yen per night for travel products with transportation/up to 3,000 yen per night for other products) and provide electronic coupons (2,000 yen per night for weekdays/1,000 yen per night for holidays) that can be used to purchase souvenirs, etc.
In addition to the above, Rakuten Travel also offers a “5% off coupon” and a “10% off lodging coupon” that can be obtained on the official website only on days that fall on 5 and 0, for a total savings of up to 35%. In addition, a campaign in which first-time users can receive up to 3,000 points is also being held at the same time (entry required).
