Yahoo! Travel will begin accepting lodging reservations at 12:00 p.m. today for the New Year’s National Travel Assistance (from January 10, 2023). The areas covered are as follows.

Hokkaido, Akita, Fukushima, Tochigi, Saitama, Kanagawa, Niigata, Ishikawa, Fukui, Yamanashi, Nagano, Gifu, Shizuoka, Aichi, Mie, Hyogo, Wakayama, Tottori, Shimane, Okayama, Yamaguchi, Kagawa, Ehime, Kochi, Fukuoka, Saga, Kumamoto, Okinawa
The nationwide travel support program at the beginning of the year will subsidize a flat 20% of the travel price (up to 5,000 yen per night for travel products with transportation/up to 3,000 yen per night for other products) and provide electronic coupons (2,000 yen per night for weekdays/1,000 yen per night for holidays) that can be used to purchase souvenirs, etc.
Travel is also running its own campaign, “Save up to 10% anytime, anyone on lodging reservations,” which offers up to an additional 10% off when paying with an online card at the time of lodging reservation.
