Hikawa Shrine, Hatsumode 2023 information on the web site. Traffic restrictions apply on three days of the week.

Posted on December 31, 2022 by News Admin

Hikawa Shrine (1-407 Takahana-cho, Omiya-ku, Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) provides information on its official Web site about the first visit to the shrine in 2023.

The following are the hours of the hall of worship where prayers are offered, and the locations for awarding sacred fuda (fuda, amulets, red seals, etc.). Red seals are available at the second Shofuda conferring place. (Entries in the ledger will be resumed from January 10 to February 3, and a gold seal of “New Year’s Offering” will be stamped on the ledger.)

Traffic regulations will be enforced around the shrine from New Year’s Eve to Sangatsu, when crowds are expected to be high. Visitors are encouraged to use buses and trains. For details, please refer to the Traffic Regulations Map.
