The Philippines has developed a national roadmap strategy (2021-2023) for COVID-19 vaccination and has positioned vaccination as a top priority in the fight against COVID-19, but there is no system in place to ensure that the vaccine is properly transported and stored in various parts of the country and that it is effectively and safely administered. Therefore, the development of cold chain equipment and logistics systems for vaccination is an urgent issue.
Through this cooperation, the project aims to establish an effective and safe vaccination system for COVID-19 vaccine by providing the related equipment required for vaccination, thereby contributing to the improvement of the vaccination coverage in the country and the early convergence of the COVID-19 disease.
